Tata Communications quarterly revenue falls 9%

Friday 10 August 2018 | 21:27 CET | News
Tata Communications posted total revenue of INR 39.12 billion in the quarter ended 30 June 2018, which represents a year-on-year decline of 9.2 percent. Consolidated revenues declined primarily because of lower volume and price compression in the voice business, Tata Communications said. The company's data revenue grew by 3.9 percent year-on-year and declined by 0.3 percent quarter-on-quarter, impacted by the operator's consolidation in India. Data services now account for 73.8 percent of the company's overall revenues, up from 64.4 percent in June 2017.
