Taxify raises USD 175 mln in investment round led by Daimler

Online taxi hailing company Taxify said that it had completed an investment round of USD 175 million for its African operations, reports Business Daily. The company operates in South Africa and Kenya and will use the investment to develop its service, in Europe and Africa. The investment round was led by car company Daimler, which will also join the board of Taxify.
