TCA teams up with Eurosmart to issue regular statistics on tamper-resistant elements

The Trusted Connectivity Alliance (TCA) and Eurosmart have agreed to the regular joint publication of information concerning the Tamper Resistant Element (TRE) sector, including the universal integrated circuit card (UICC), embedded SIM (eSIM), embedded Secure Element (eSE) and 5G SIM markets. By aligning membership statistics on annual shipments and forecasting data for key segments, TCA and Eurosmart will provide a streamlined, authoritative global view of trends in the digital security and connectivity industry, they said.
