TDC's YouSee launches a la carte TV service Ekstrakanaler

TDC's television subsidiary YouSee said it has launched a la carte TV in Denmark under the name Ekstrakaneler. This will enable viewers to subscribe to individual channels from a range of more than 100 on top of their basic cable TV package. YouSee said this is in response to requests for more choice and more flexibility, though it conceded this selection method will work out a little dearer than subscribing to a set menu of channels.
