TDF acquires online video platform Qbrick

Friday 28 October 2011 | 10:33 CET | News
French broadcasting and mobile infrastructure operator TDF has acquired Swedish online video platform and content delivery network provider Qbrick for an undicslosed amount. Qbrick, which has around 600 media, telecom and corporate customers in Scandinavia, will join TDF's SmartJog, Cognacq-Jay Image, BeBanjo and Mediamobile subsidiaries within the company's media services division. The acquisition strengthens TDF's technological innovation capacity and extends its range of solutions, said the new director of the media services division and SmartJog CEO, Julien Seligmann.
