TDF to offer health data hosting services with SIB

TDF has signed a national framework contract with French hosting services provider and software publisher SIB covering to sell health data hosting services for hospital IT systems using TDF's broadband connectivity and regional datacentre services. SIB was the first public host to be accredited by the health ministry to store personal health data in France. The company has been offering a health data hosting service to hospitals since 2002. TDF owns a 5,000 km fibre network carrying voice, data and video at 10 to 100 Gbps and ProxiCenter regional data centres in Bordeaux, Lille, Rennes and
