Tech Data launches TaaS for bundled data centre services, hardware

Thursday 11 October 2018 | 09:49 CET | News
Tech Data launched 'Tech-as-a-Service for Advanced Solutions,' a new utility-based billing programme that allows customers and end-users in the US to bundle data centre hardware, software and services into a consumption-based pricing model in which end-users only pay according to the used resources. This programme allows customers to have private, dedicated hardware either on-premise or in a colocation and pay for it as if they were in the public cloud. Specific benefits to channel partners of Tech Data's TaaS-Advanced Solutions offering include flexibility, treatment and monitoring.
