Techno launches Phantom A in Kenya at KES 20,000

Tecno Mobile has introduced the Phantom A smartphone to the Kenyan market and it is available for KES 20,000 from all authorised Tecno retailers. The dual SIM smartphone has a 5-inch HD touchscreen, runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has a dual core processor. Speaking during the launch, ICT Principal Secretary Joseph Musuni Tiampaty noted that close to 3 million mobile phones in the Kenyan market are counterfeit, translating to about 10 percent of all the active mobile devices in the country.
