Technology pushes UK productivity up 480% since 1970s

The adoption of technologies such as mobile phones, email and business, has, pushed worker productivity 480 percent in 2012 since 1972, according to the Individual Productivity report by O2 Business and the Centre for Economic and Business Research (Cebr). Digital working is expected to boost growth another 22 percent by 2020, driven by rising technologies such as O2's 4G high speed mobile internet access, and tablet computers, which will allow office workers to stay connected and productive wherever they are.The technologies allow businesses to accomplish more in a shorter amount of time,
