Tecno Kenya launches Phantom A with Safaricom

Friday 5 July 2013 | 11:05 CET | News
Chinese handset manufacturer Tecno has introduced the Phantom A, an entry-level smartphone that is aimed at Kenya's growing middle class, the Business Daily reported. The Phantom A is up against the established Blackberry and Samsung brands. Communication manager Mounir Boukali told the Business Daily that the dual SIM phone has a wide high-resolution touchscreen, enabling users easily to access messages and multimedia such as the Asphalt 6 game that comes loaded on the phone. The phones are available from Safaricom shops and dealer outlets countrywide at KES 5,999.
