Telcel activates expanded 4G service in Acapulco

Mexican mobile telephony operator Telcel, owned by America Movil, has announced the expansion of its 4G network to the resort city Acapulco on the country's Pacific coast. The operator now offers 4G services to around 65.5 million Mexicans in over 14,500 localities brings to 65 the number of cities with 4G coverage by the operator. Prepaid customers can also access LTE via the operator's Amigo service.
