Telcel launches 4G for prepaid customers

Mexican mobile telephony operator has launched 4G services for its prepaid users. With the new offering, Telcel's prepaid customers will be able to navigate at speeds of up to 20Mbps in the 38 cities where the telco offers 4G services Telcel's marketing director Marcela Velasco said that nearly 20 percent of The operator's data traffic is carried on 4GLTE networks Prepaid subscribers currently account for over 80 percent of the company's overall base.
