Telcel launches shared mobile data service

Tuesday 23 June 2015 | 15:51 CET | News
Mexican mobile telephony operator Telcel, owned by America Movil, has launched a service dubbed 'Internet Compartido' ('Shared Internet'), allowing users to share their data bundles with up to ten beneficiaries at the same time. The service is available to all subscribers to Telcel mobile plans such as Pro, Plus or Mas x Menos, with data bundles ranging from 1GB to 20GB available from MXN 199 per month. Customers can manage the data shared with other Telcel users via a dedicated Andoird or iOS app available from Google Play or the App Store.
