Tele Columbus grows revenues but sees reported EBITDA drop in Q1

Thursday 27 May 2021 | 09:44 CET | News
German cable operator Tele Columbus said its revenues rose by 3.4 percent year-on-year in Q1 2021 to EUR 118.9 million, mainly due to an increase in B2B and internet and telephony sales. B2B sales amounted to EUR 17.3 million, which corresponds to an increase of 27 percent in Q1 this year compared with the first quarter of the prior year. Internet and telephony sales increased by 4 percent year-on-year to EUR 37.3 million. These developments more than compensated for the 3 percent decrease in TV sales in Q1 2021 compared with the previous year to EUR 55.4 million.
