Tele2 buys Austrian business ISP Silver Server

Tele2 Austria has announced the acquisition of Austrian business ISP Silver Server, pending approval from the Austrian Competition Authority. The acquisition will give Tele2 Austria a stronger presence in the B2B market. Vienna-based Silver Server has 75 employees and 8,000 customers across Austria, and is expected to generate sales of around EUR 11.5 million in 2011. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
