Tele2 expands mobile backhaul network with Ericsson

Tele2 signed a frame agreement with Ericsson, which commenced in December 2012, for the expansion and upgrade of its mobile backhaul network throughout Europe. Ericsson will provide Tele2 with its MINI-LINK series of microwave radio products as well as professional support services and training. The hybrid MINI-LINK TN and MINI-LINK CN can transport native Ethernet and native PDH (plesiochronous digital hierarchy) data over the same hop, which gives migration from TDM to packet technology.
