Tele2 extends climate conservation ambitions with new SBTi goals

European operator Tele2 said it is expanding its environmental conservation efforts by launching climate goals approved by the Science-Based Target initiative (SBTi). It has committed to cutting absolute scope 1 and 2 greenhouse emissions by 90 percent by 2025 and by 100 percent by 2029 from a 2019 base year. It has also pledged to reduce scope 3 emissions by 60 percent per subscription by 2029, again from a 2019 base.
