Tele2 Latvia upgrades network in Riga

Mobile operator Tele2 Latvia has concluded the upgrade of its network in the city of Riga at an investment of LVL 1 million. It installed 24 new 3G base stations in the capital city, and all other base stations were upgraded. Mobile internet speeds and voice services quality were improved as a result. Tele2 Latvia used equipment from Nokia Siemens Networks for its network modernisation across the country. The upgrade was earlier completed in Kurzeme, Latgale, Vidzeme and Ziemgale regions.
