Tele2 rejects Dutch proposal to expand tapping access

Tele2 Netherlands has come out against the government's proposal to expand the tapping abilities of intelligence services, calling it frightening, disproportionate and impractical to implement. In a reaction to the public consultation by the justice ministry, Tele2 warned the government that the law could reduce the Netherlands' attraction for businesses in the digital economy and threaten personal privacy.
