Tele2 Russia launches LTE services in Bryansk, Ryazan

Mobile operator Tele2 Russia has launched its LTE network in the Bryansk and Ryazan regions, reports Riavrn.ru. LTE services from the operator are available in a total 41 regions across the country and are planned to launch in nine additional regions this year.

LTE services cover more than 67 percent of the population of the Bryansk region, in 14 major cities and towns. A total 78 percent of the population has been covered in the Ryazan region.

Tele2 Russia provides LTE services on the 1,800 MHz band in both regions.
