Tele2 says authorities are too keen to request customer data

Tele2 Sweden said Swedish authorities are using weaker and weaker grounds to demand access to customer data. It said a report from Swedish Radio's economic news service on 19 November says the security police (Sapo) and other national crime agencies could access certain portions of Sweden's telephony and data traffic using automated systems. Tele2 head legal counsel Stefan Backman said the company takes a critical stance over authorities' reduced respect for data integrity.
