Directors James Makamba and Gerald Mlotshwa are both claiming chairmanship of Telecel Zimbabwe, reports NewsDay. Makamba has held the chairmanship since inception in 1998 through Telecel's  40 percent shareholder Empowerment Corporation (EC), but it has emerged that he lost his shareholding after defaulting on a debt to a local investment company and a South African institution.
