Telecom Argentina secures USD 96 mln loan for Nokia equipment

Telecom Argentina has secured a EUR 96 million loan maturing in 2026 to continue funding its infrastructure expansion throughout the country, reports website iProfesional. The credit line is covered by a guarantee from Finnvera, the Finnish export credit agency, and will help fund the purchase of capital goods, especially equipment from Nokia, said the report. The equipment will be used to roll out the Personal 4G network as well as the expansion and reconversion of fixed copper networks to fibre or HFC networks with a view to enhancing the services offered by Telecom Argentina's Fibertel and
