Telecom Italia activates FTTC network in Tolfa

Telecom Italia (TIM) has announced the activation of a fibre-to-the-curb (FTTC) service in the town of Tolfa near Rome. The fibre service is already available to all households and businesses throughout the town after TIM rolled out 4 km of fibre cables, giving around 2,600 premises access to the internet at speeds of up to 200 Mbps following an investment of over EUR 160,000.
