Telecom Italia begins Manfredonia fibre rollout

Telecom Italia has announced that work is underway to install a new fibre-optic network in the town of Manfredonia in the southern region of Apulia (Puglia). The deployment will involve connecting 96 street cabinets, with the company hoping to reach 23,000 households plus 26 public buildings. Customers in the town will be able to access the internet at speeds of at least 50 Mbps, increasing to 100 Mbps in the future.
