Telecom Italia brings FTTC service to Spoleto

Telecom Italia has begun offering a high-speed fibre-optic broadband service in the city of Spoleto in the central Umbria region. The service, based on FTTC technology, has already been activated in many parts of the city and will be extended to around 55 percent of the population by the end of the year. Customers in the connected areas will be able to access the internet at speeds of at least 50 Mbps, increasing to up to 100 Mbps in the future. The operator's fibre optic services are currently available at the promotional rates of EUR 29 per month for consumers and EUR 35 for businesses for
