Sunday 24 March 2013 | 14:20 CET | News
Telecom Italia has launched audioguide E-White, with orientation functions designed for the blind and visually impaired. This new app for smartphones and tablets was funded by Foundation Telecom and verified by the Italian Union of Blind Persons in Rome. E-White may be extended to everyone: from cultural and tourist applications to simple directions and logistics, both in the open as in closed places (airports stations, underground). The first route tested by the Italian Union of Blind Persons of Rome was the Park of Appia Antica.
