Telecom Italia launches FTTC services in Rome, Turin, Naples

Telecom Italia announced the launch of new internet services based on its FTTC network in Rome, Turin and Naples. From 05 December, customers will be able to subscribe to the fibre-to-the-cabinet services, offering speeds of up to 30 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload. The marketing of services based on the fibre-optic network will be extended in the coming weeks to Milan, Genoa, Bologna and Bari, and packages for business customers will launch in January. The cities where the roll-out of fibre is at an advanced stage are Rome, Turin, Naples, Milan, Genoa, Bologna, Bari, Catania, Venice,
