Telecom Italia to roll out FTTC network in Legnano

Monday 15 June 2015 | 14:54 CET | News
Telecom Italia has announced the details of a plan to install a new fibre-optic network in the town Legnano, in the northern Verona province. The work will involve rolling out 31 km of fibre optic cables to connect 65 street cabinets, with the company hoping to reach 10,000 households, or 90 percent of the population, by the end of September. Telecom Italia also revealed that it had brought 4G coverage to around 98 percent of the city's population thanks to the installation of four new base stations.
