Telecomm starts migrating CFE network users

Telecomm, the trustee of the fibre-optic backbone in Mexico, has submitted to the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) the procedure for the transfer of contracts of end-users using the CFE network. This in accordance with the resolution approved the regulator, which establishes a deadline of 90 days after it awarded Telecomm the concession to the backbone. Telecomm will provide wholesale telecommunications services exclusively to operators and distributors, so that all contracts with end-users which were assigned by CFE to Telecomm will have to be transferred to other operators or
