Telefonica acquires F1 rights, launches dedicated channel

Telefonica has reached a deal with Formula One Management to launch a dedicated Formula 1 channel, dubbed MovistarF1, offering live broadcasts of all Grands Prix and exclusive reports on every aspect of the world's premier motor sport championship on Movistar TV. The company promises an experience that has never seen before in Spain, with an HD multi-screen service providing up to six different feeds without any advertising breaks. According to Telefonica, the channel will be available to all customers with a Movistar device connected to the internet, be it at home or on the move. Customers
