Telefonica Argentina to boost investment to ARS 8.5 bln

Telefonica de Argentina will invest a total ARS 8.5 billion in its fixed and mobile infrastructure and telecommunications networks this year, according to the company's latest corporate sustainability report. The figure represents a significant increase compared to the ARS 7.2 billion invested in 2014 and the ARS 4.1 billion invested the previous year, said Telefonica at the presentation of the report. Last year's investment included ARS 609 million allocated to R&D, a 31 percent increase compared to the ARS 465 million invested in 2013. The company currently has 26.6 million customers and is
