Telefonica Brasil Q2 net profit rises 26.4%, revenue up 0.4%

Telefonica Brasil reported a recurrent net profit of BRL 1.4 billion for the second quarter of 2019, up by 26.4 percent compared with the same period last year. In the first half, net profit reached BRL 2.8 billion (+24.3%). Recurring EBITDA was BRL 3.8 billion (+1%) with an EBITDA margin of 34.9 percent (+0.2%). For the first six months of the year, recurring EBITDA was BRL 7.7 billion (+1.9%) with an EBITDA margin of 35.2 percent.
