Telefonica Brasil to maintain BRL 8 billion/year investments

Telefonica Brasil/Vivo will continue investing BRL 8 billion per year in Brazil, according to CEO Amos Genish, reports Reuters. He said that the company plans to transform itself into a digital services platform, due to the drop in revenues from voice services. Genish stressed that Telefonica Brasil will diversify its revenue sources and continue implementing cost-cutting measures to improve profitability and dividends.
