Telefonica Brasil, owner of the Vivo brand in Brazil, has announced it will advance BRL 1 billion in payments for the months of April, May and June to around 900 small and medium suppliers, reports Valor Economico. Christian Gebara, president of Telefonica, said the intention is to provide breathing space to smaller companies in the midst of the crisis caused by the new coronavirus. Eligible for payment will be suppliers in more critical segments, those with greater need for liquidity and with invoices issued and approved in Vivo's accounts payable system.
