Telefonica brings Mobile Connect tool to Peru

Friday 17 June 2016 | 15:40 CET | News
Telefonica Peru, through its business unit Telefonica Grandes Empresas (TGE), has introduced the "Mobile Connect" service for business customers, allowing companies to offer the possibility of registering and logging into websites and apps in a fast, simple and safe manner without multiple passwords. Telefonica is the first operator to provide this service to its customers in Peru. This new system, developed by the GSMA, is based on identification through the combination of mobile phone and PIN to verify and authenticate the user's identity without sharing their personal data.
