Telefonica Colombia customers up 3% to 16.5 mln in Q1

Telefonica Colombia reported first-quarter revenues up 4.4 percent from a year earlier to EUR 388 million, continuing its recent return to growth, boosted by a 3 percent rise in customer numbers to 16.5 million. Operating income before depreciation and amortisation (OIBDA) was up 5.0 percent year on year to EUR 129 million, with mobile service revenues also increasing by 4.2 percent to EUR 206 million in Q1 driven by a 40 percent year on year rise in data revenues.
