Telefonica cuts price of fibre plan to under EUR 15 for 9 months

Monday 18 October 2021 | 10:26 CET | News
Telefonica has again responded to recent price cuts by rivals Vodafone and Orange in an ongoing price war in Spain's standalone fibre space. Just over a week after cutting the price of its Movistar Conecta internet plan with symmetric 600Mbps fibre broadband to EUR 19.90 a month, Telefonica has further reduced the price to EUR 14.90 a month for the first 9 months, rising to EUR 44 a month thereafter, a total saving of nearly EUR 266. There are no permanence clauses but only calls to fixed line numbers are included.
