Telefonica Czech Republic joins Safer Internet day

Telefonica Czech Republic joins the international day of Safer Internet, 5 February, and in cooperation with the National Centre Safer Internet organizes an educational campaign. The campaign is important due to the growing number of smartphones in use (71 percent of phones sold on the O2 network), the operator said. Based on a survey by Eurobarometer 10 percent of Czechs connect to the internet via a mobile phone. Notebooks and desktops are still the most used means of internet connection.
