Telefonica de Argentina's Q2 revs down 21.6% y-o-y

Telefonica de Argentina recorded revenues of EUR 718 million in the second quarter of the year, a decrease of 21.6 percent compared to EUR 916 million in the same period in 2013. The operator's mobile business generated revenues of EUR 470 million in Q2, down 21.4 percent year-on-year, while revenues from the fixed segment amounted to EUR 248 million, down 22.1 percent versus the year-ago quarter. Telefonica's OIBDA in the period was EUR 169 million, down from EUR 227 million in Q2 2013. The OIBDA margin stood at 23.1 percent in the quarter, down 2.0 percentage points year-on-year.
