Telefonica Deutschland agrees loan from EIB

Telefonica Deutschland entered into its first financing contract with the European Investment Bank (EIB), for a loan of EUR 450 million via its subsidiary Telefonica Germany. The funds will be used to finance investments in the consolidation, modernisation and expansion of the mobile network after the acquisition of E-Plus. The objective is to offer the customer countrywide mobile broadband services.
