Telefonica Deutschland ends Simyo's encrypted messenger service sayHey per 23 January 2017, reports teltarif.de citing a message sent to sayHey customers. The messenger app enabled users to sent encrypted messages to each other and SMS message to non-sayHey users and was developed for Simyo, then the no frills brand of E-Plus. Following the merger between E-Plus and Telefonica Deutschland, the latter decided this year to end Simyo as brand and move all customers to its own no frills brand Blau.
