Telefonica dominant in Mexico's mobile market

Mexico's competition watchdog CFC ruled that Telefonica's subsidiary Grupo de Telecomunicaciones Mexicanas (GTM) is dominant in the Mexican mobile phone market. Cofetel is now expected to apply asymmetric regulations to limit the dominant operator's market power.
