Telefonica Espana revenues drop 5.6% in Q1

Telefonica Espana's first-quarter revenues totalled EUR 4.372 billion, down by 5.6 percent year-on-year. The drop was mainly due to reduced customer usage across businesses and intense price pressure, which translated into a significant drop in ARPU across services. In the first quarter of the year, Telefonica Espana's trading environment continued to be shaped by a strong price-oriented competition and an adverse economic environment, the company said.
