Telefonica expands O2 Hotline capacity to cut waiting period

Telefonica Deutschland will expand the capacity of the O2 Hotline to improve the reachability, according to Telefonica Deutschland COO Markus Haas cited by German press agency Dpa. He said that although the operator had prepared its customer service for an increase in information request volumes due to the migration of Base and E-Plus customers to O2 and simyo customers to blau.de, but in the last quarter the volume of information requests was much higher than anticipated. He expects that the peak in waiting times has already been reached but the waiting period is still not up to Telefonica's
