Telefonica, FireEye team up on B2B cybersecurity services

Telefonica has announced a partnership with IT security company FireEye to improve the operator's cyber protection services. According to the partners, the combination of their technology will give Telefonica's business customers near real-time detection and response that can be tailored to an individual company's cyber threat profile. As part of the agreement, Telefonica Mobile Security customers will have access to the FireEye Mobile Threat Prevention (MTP) offering, which also complements Telefonica's in-house threat detection capabilities.
