Telefonica, Generali launch free driving app

Telefonica has joined forces with car insurer Generali Autos to create a new mobile app, dubbed Generali Driver, designed to improve driving habits and road safety. The app uses an advanced algorithm to examine driving behaviour in real time, assessing the car's position, speed, handling, as well as any sudden acceleration or braking, before giving recommendations. After each journey the app gives a score based on the skills of the driver, which will then be totted up to give a score out of 100 at the end of the month. Users who download the free Android and iOS app and drive for at least 200
