Telefonica Germany provides anonymized mobile data to Robert Koch Institute to predict Covid-19 spread

Wednesday 1 April 2020 | 17:17 CET | News
Telefonica cooperates with Teralytics and Senozon Deutschland to provide the institute with data and analysis. The data is anonymous and aggregated. This means that it does not lead to the identity of specific persons. The chains of infection cannot be traced using cell phone data, and traffic data on a specific person is also excluded from the analysis because it is subject to strict legal limits.
