Telefonica Germany reduces CO2 emissions in 2019

Telefonica Germany said that it reduced the company's CO2 emissions by 28.5 percent in 2019 percent compared to 2015, thus exceeding the goal of 11 percent set in the corporate responsibility plan. While the operator's data volume was 106 percent higher at the end of 2019 compared to 2015, energy consumption fell by 15 percent. This means a 56.1 percent reduction in energy consumption per data unit.
