Telefonica hikes prepay tariffs, adds data

Telefonica has become the first Spanish operator to increase the price of setting up calls on prepay plans to 25 eurocents after announcing a revamp of its Movistar Vive prepay range. The operator's Movistar Vive 9 tariff now comes with 1GB of data at 4G+ speeds and calls at 3 eurocents a minute for EUR 9 a month, while the revamped Movistar Vive 15 tariff comes with 2GB of data, up from 1GB, and unlimited minutes after the setup, for EUR 15 a month, EUR 2 more than the previous rate.
